Texhibition Istanbul, the textile trade show that took place from 10 to 12 September 2025 at the Istanbul Expo Centre, achieved new growth results.
The event registered 24,148 trade visitors, 6.7% more when compared with the spring edition of March. Out of its total visitors, 7,021 were international buyers (16.9% more than previous edition), strengthening its position as an international sourcing platform.
Among foreign visitors there were insiders from Europe, the Middle East, Asia, North Africa, North America, and other regions.
The show hosted 524 exhibitors occupying 42,850 sq. meters across five halls, presenting a portfolio covering the entire textile value chain–from fabrics, yarns and accessories to denim, lace, embroidery and printing.
Around 100 exclusive B2B meetings with top buyers such as Hugo Boss, Burberry, Patagonia, Revolve, About You and Guess underlined the global relevance of the event.
A particular highlight of the event was the distinct Blue Black Denim area. The denim-focused section hosted 24 leading players that presented sustainable technologies, trends and creative ideas – reinforcing Türkiye’s role as the world's third-largest denim producer.
Among exhibitors of this specific area there were leading manufacturers including Bossa, İskur, Isko, Kipas, Orta and Sharabati.
Despite the market’s general slowdown, Türkiye’s denim sector plays a vital role in the global textile industry.
In 2024, the country’s denim fabric exports increased by more than 12%, reaching a value of around US$273 million.
At the same time, denim clothing represented nearly US$730 million in Turkish ready-to-wear exports, underscoring its weight within the nation’s textile and apparel industry.
With this performance, Türkiye has consolidated its status as the world’s third-largest producer of denim garments, a figure that reflects its strong export dynamics and the country’s growing influence as a global hub for innovation, quality, and sustainable production in denim.
The Blue Black Texhibition Trend Area provided deep insights into the future of denim presenting experimental surfaces, burned or melted effects, glossy lacquering, and cyanotype-inspired patterns.
Meanwhile, all denim manufacturers offered interactive workshops, giving visitors the chance to experience new techniques and approaches first-hand.
Also hosted by the show were trend seminars and visionary presentations in the Innovation Hub, while the Trends Lab and ReValue Stock Hub completed the offer of the show.
“Texhibition Istanbul has strengthened its place in the global calendar by increasing international interest every year. It showcases the production power, sustainability vision, and innovative approach of the Turkish textile industry on the world stage,” commented Fatih Bilici, Vice President, ITHIB, and chairman of the Fair Committee.

“As the world’s fifth-largest textile exporter, Türkiye makes a difference in global markets with high-quality woven and knitted fabrics. Texhibition Istanbul has become one of the strongest reflections of this success. This year, once again, it became the meeting point for international buyers,” he added.
