The Trend Area Shines as Texhibition's Showcase

At Texhibition Istanbul, the Trend Area curated by concept consultancy Idil Tarzi unveiled the color, texture, and style details of the 2024 spring/summer fashion season. Over 200 participant companies showcased their high-design products in this trend-focused area.

Filiz Tunca and Berna Gürses, spearheading the preparations, shared insights into the Trend Area and the overall concept of the fair, which garnered significant interest from industry professionals both domestically and internationally. Idil Tarzi, the Creative Director of Texibition at İTKİB Fair Organization Inc., provided a detailed account of the creative process.

Texhibition Fair stands out as a fair where fabric, yarn, and accessory manufacturers participate and create their collections through R&D studies months in advance for the spring/summer 2024 season. Moreover, when considered from the perspective of visitors, Texhibition Fair is on the agenda of many buying groups, including international ones.

After the devastating earthquake, humanitarian aid became our top priority, as rebuilding is integral to development. To foster the growth of our country and the affected region, I established the theme of "Sustainable Economy, Belief in Sustainable Trade."

Under the slogan "Sustainable Solidarity #Texhibition" we aimed to create a balanced architectural and visual environment, emphasizing the cool-headed continuation of commerce with artistic sensitivity. Mina Gençoğuz, studying finance and creative content in the United States, graciously penned the following thoughts on a voluntary basis: "Solidarity is a psychological sense of unity that creates awareness about common goals within society. It is based on absolute collaboration and forms a unique bond that connects us all. Solidarity is not only a strong action to overcome challenges and rebuild lives but also a fundamental value we hold dear."

At the entrance of the fair, we commemorated the "Respect Moment" of the Turkish textile industry, aiming for a sustainable economy, symbolized by an architectural installation featuring miner helmets. This immersive design allowed for an emotional transition into the vibrant world of the spring/summer 2024 season, where colors and trends came to life, inspired by our respect, silence, prayer, and contemplation.
