Curated by Human Innovation Designer Arzu Kaprol and coordinated by Filiz Tunca, the Innovation Hub brought together cutting-edge technologies and material breakthroughs that are shaping the textile industry of tomorrow. But it wasn’t just about functionality—it was also about feeling. The space explored how innovation can be tactile, emotional, and human-centered.
Reflecting Kaprol’s signature vision of “people-first innovation,” the exhibit invited visitors to engage with prototypes and concepts rooted in both present-day practices and speculative futures. From wearable tech and bio-based materials to zero-waste constructions, advanced coatings, and multi-layered functional fabrics, the Hub offered more than a display—it became a living lab of possibilities.
What stood out was not just the content, but the approach. Projects challenged traditional manufacturing habits while blending design, science, and engineering into one cohesive dialogue. Here, technology wasn’t simply a tool—it was a co-author in the creative process. More than just a showcase of products, Innovation Hub was an invitation to rethink how we design, make, and imagine.
