As part of Texhibition Istanbul’s seminar program, Aldrich’s session offered a multidimensional perspective on the season ahead—exploring not only the visual direction of Spring/Summer 2026, but its emotional, ethical, and functional undercurrents as well. The talk revealed how emerging relationships with nature are influencing material development and how storytelling through fabric is becoming more nuanced and values-driven.
Organized around three central themes, the forecast highlighted innovation in natural fibers, environmentally conscious production methods, and narratives that blend cultural memory with forward-thinking design. Across all themes, the balance between nature and technology, nostalgia and modernity, comfort and performance stood out.
One of the core narratives, Replenish, focused on rebuilding fashion’s relationship with nature. Emphasizing local, renewable, and low-impact materials, the theme champions slower production cycles, mindful design practices, and deep respect for source. From coconut fiber and soy-based textiles to pastel palettes, rural-inspired prints, and sustainably farmed cotton, Replenish offered a calm yet compelling vision of what’s next.
