The Innovation Hub featured a range of developments, from hemp-based textiles and bio-microencapsulation to thermal regulation, new material compositions, finishing techniques and functional solutions. Technical data and fabric specifications accompanied the physical samples, providing visitors with detailed information on material performance and potential applications.
Products from Turkish manufacturers including Tan Tekstil, Nurel Group, Ağaoğlu Tekstil, Engin Tekstil, Baysara Tekstil, Pakipek Group and Deniz Tekstil demonstrated the breadth of material development taking place across the industry.
Among the solutions on display were Umorfil®, a bionic fiber incorporating collagen peptide amino acids derived from recycled fish scales; hemp-based textiles offering durability, moisture absorption and biodegradability; and Saxcell/Cotton by Baysara Tekstil, presenting a new approach to fiber and material combinations.
A fabric combining moisture-wicking, antibacterial and waterproof properties within a single structure also demonstrated how multiple performance characteristics can be integrated into one textile solution.
