The biodegradability test results for this yarn are as follows, demonstrating significantly higher decomposition rates compared to recycled PES. The relevant test standards and comparative results are provided below:
In landfill conditions: 93.8% degradation in 646 days In ocean water: 86.1% degradation in 1,563 days
In household wastewater: 17.8% degradation in 241 days (a significantly higher rate compared to recycled PES, considering that fibers enter wastewater from washing machines)
The printing process is entirely water- and chemical-free, minimizing environmental impact.
